Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some quick questions to help get you started.
We offer multiple secure payment options for employers to pay freelancers:
PayPal – quick and easy for international payments.
Bank Account Deposit – direct transfer to your freelancer’s account.
Payoneer – fast and secure for freelancers around the world.
All payments are processed securely, and our platform automatically deducts a 15% service fee from each transaction for using our marketplace
Employers: You can cancel ongoing projects or gigs before payment is released to the freelancer. Once a payment is completed, cancellation depends on the agreement with the freelancer.
Freelancers: You can remove your services or gigs at any time, but ongoing work already paid for by an employer may require completion according to your agreement.
Our platform encourages clear communication between freelancers and employers to ensure a smooth resolution for cancellations.
After completing a payment, a receipt/invoice is automatically generated and sent to your registered email.
You can also access all past invoices and payment history in your account dashboard.
Receipts include service details, payment amount, and our 15% service fee, making them suitable for record-keeping or tax purposes.
All transactions on our platform are handled via our standard Freelancer Marketplace License, which allows:
Posting and purchasing services or projects.
Payment processing via PayPal, Bank Deposit, or Payoneer.
Use of the platform for professional, commercial, or personal projects.
No additional licensing is required to access or purchase services — everything is included within your account on the platform.
Once you purchase a gig or project:
The freelancer receives your order and begins work.
You can communicate with the freelancer through our built-in messaging system.
All work submissions, updates, and final deliverables are accessible directly in your project dashboard.
For ongoing jobs, you can track milestones, progress, and payments until the project is complete. For one-time gigs or projects, you will have access for the duration of the agreed timeline.
Every payment from an employer to a freelancer automatically includes a 15% commission fee charged by the platform.
For example, if an employer pays £100 for a gig:
Freelancer receives £85
Platform takes £15 as the service fee
This ensures the platform can maintain secure payment processing, customer support, and marketplace infrastructure.
